At Galaxy Shows, we use a mix of human research and AI-assisted tools to help us cover live events faster and keep our listings current. This page explains how we use AI in our content process, what stays entirely in human hands, and how we protect the accuracy of everything we publish.
If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at info@galaxyshows.com.
Why We Use AI
Live events move fast. Tour dates get announced, venues change, and tickets go on sale within hours. AI tools help our small team research, draft, and structure content at the speed fans need, so we can cover more shows, more cities, and more updates without sacrificing turnaround time.
AI is a tool we use to work faster. It is not a replacement for editorial judgment, fact-checking, or accountability.
How We Use AI in Our Content Process
AI-assisted tools may be used at different stages of our content process, including:
- Research support: Gathering and organising publicly available information about events, venues, and ticket sources
- Drafting assistance: Helping structure articles and listings for clarity and readability
- Formatting and editing: Improving grammar, structure, and consistency across pages
AI is not used to invent facts, fabricate quotes, or generate event details that have not been verified against a reliable source.
Human Oversight and Fact-Checking
No content is published on Galaxy Shows without human review. Every piece of AI-assisted content goes through the following process before it goes live:
- A member of our team reviews the draft in full
- Every date, venue, price, and lineup detail is checked against official or verified sources
- Content is edited for accuracy, tone, and usefulness to the reader
- Final approval is given by a human editor before publication
We follow this process because we know that accuracy on details like show dates and ticket sources directly affects our readers’ plans and money. Human accountability sits behind every page we publish, regardless of what tools helped create the first draft.
What We Will Never Do
To protect the trust of our readers and stay aligned with responsible content practices, we do not:
- Publish AI-generated content without human review and fact-checking
- Use AI to fabricate event details, ticket prices, or availability
- Use AI to generate fake reviews, testimonials, or first-hand accounts of events we did not attend or research
- Present AI-written text as a named individual’s personal experience or expertise unless that experience is genuine
- Mass-produce thin, repetitive, or low-value pages simply to target search terms
Our Commitment to Quality and Originality
Our goal is to give readers real value, not just words on a page. In line with how search engines and readers alike evaluate content quality, we focus on:
- Accuracy: Every listing is checked before publishing and updated as new information becomes available
- Originality: Our content reflects our own research, structure, and editorial voice, not copied or lightly reworded material from other sites
- Usefulness: We aim to answer the actual questions a fan has before a show, not simply to fill a page
- Trustworthiness: We disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and keep editorial decisions independent of any commercial arrangement
This approach is also explained in our Editorial Policy.
Images and Media
Where images are AI-generated or AI-edited rather than sourced from official press materials or licensed providers, we aim to label them accordingly. Photos of artists, venues, and events are sourced from official channels, licensed image providers, or credited photographers wherever possible.
Corrections
If you spot an error in any of our content, including anything you believe was affected by an AI drafting error that slipped past our review, please tell us. We investigate every report and correct confirmed errors promptly. Significant corrections are reflected in the page’s “Last Updated” date. See our Editorial Policy for our full corrections process.
Changes to This Policy
AI tools and industry best practices continue to evolve, and we will update this policy as our processes change. When we make significant updates, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
